Renters insurance

Anybody have a recommendation for a compay to buy renters insurance from?
Just sold my house and the company i had home owners with doesn't do renters insurance

I have always used USAA and had nothing but great results from them.

I have State Farm. $23 a month for $30k in personal belongings and $100k liability.

Always read the fine print to see if they have any restrictions on firearms or ammo in the policy. Some do, some don't.

State Farm covers firearms, I had a separate rider for mine on my homeowners but with the few I have left after my divorce I don't have a reason for a separate rider. I also have a large Umbrella Policy for like $11 a month.

I am sure they are good insurance company, but I was enlisted in the Army. USAA used to not take enlisted members as customers, we were not elite enough for them. If my money was not good enough for them back then, they are not good enough for me now. I would not and will not do business with any business that has ever discriminated against me.

USAA was originally formed by military officers for military officers. They insured each other. No discrimination there. You could be missing a good bet unnecessarily.

again, I was not elite enough for them, no thanks. No one is better than me.
