Revolver, sticky rounds in cyclinder after firing.

Soo, reloads question.
Shot some 357 mag reloads (not my reloads) in a 357 mag pistol and the brass had to be pounded out with a rod.
Now, i also shot some 38spl, 38spl+P and other 357 mag ammo, BEFORE & AFTER I shot the sticky reloads. NONE OF THEM needed pounded out or were sticking in the cyclinder.
Odd thing is, the sticky reloads had about the same report and recoil as the 38spl+p loads and much less report and recoil than the factory 357mag rounds.
What are some thoughts?

Sure sounds like hot loads to me. Brass is supposed to seal in the chamber to prevent gas escaping as you know already and then shrink back so it's easy to remove. I'm going with hot loads, maybe the wrong powder as they are reloads?

Try thoroughly cleaning the cylinder chambers with a brush and bore paste. I have experienced the same problem and that solved it.

Some powders will give higher pressures with different primers, bullet weights, etc. I would check for primer flattening too. Give it a good cleaning a try a few again. If same problem, disassemble.

If your other rounds ejected normally what else could be the problem?
Going to spitball here, but is there a chance the original reloader annealed the cases? Totally not needed in straight walled cases, but……

Good question. Idk, might ask. Might just tear them down.

Ho lee cow. I didn't see these primers earlier today, but they are flat as can be.
I'll tear them down and reload. I'll measure the powder loads.
