Rossi model 511

Anyone have a Rossi model 511 stainless .22 LR revolver. I'm looking at one in very good condition and it is complete with box and papers. Curious as to what the value of this gun would be. I'm not wanting to buy as a collector but the box and papers would be a nice complete package. I just want to know what is a fair amount to pay. Also does anyone know how they shoot.

I am also looking at a Rossi model 515. Similar gun in .22 magnum

Yep. That's the one I'm looking at. The model 515 in .22 mag is $395.

But 4 years ago I paid $175.00 for one in a pawn shop.

It's a relatively decent handgun,,,
Pretty much a clone of the S&W Model 63.

In today's market I wouldn't pay more than $300.00 for one,,,
And I would try like heck to get it for $250.00.

Seems like the closed auctions that I've checked on line are all over the place. I've seen $200 to $456.00 so far. Many of those prices were form 2013 though and that's without box and papers.

So I went ahead and bought this Rossi 511. Wont have it for a few days. Does anyone know a source for the date of mfg. by serial number?

Thanks but they know absolutely nothing. Rossi Braztech does not have any records of the older Rossi guns
from the InterArms period. InterArms couldn't provide any information either.

You might get some info from this gentleman,,,
He was one of their in-house gunsmiths for Interarms.

When Interarms folded he bought a lot of their parts stock,,,
He repaired another Interarms Rossi for me,,,
He did a good job for not much money.
