The wind finally calmed down and I was able to take it out to the range. It really likes the hornady black, just like my gen 1. I think I'm really going to like this rifle and I may end up getting the gen II 308 as well at some point.
Great video as always. My Howa likes the Hornady black also. Fortunately, it likes Tula soft points too. The POI changes just a bit but the groups are acceptable.
I wish I could find some of the Tula softpoints, but I've never seen them at academy or any of the local gun stores.

Pretty descent price for soft point ammo. I don't know if you could even reload for 60cpr. at current primer/powder/bullet prices
Nice, I think I will finally pull the trigger sometime this year on a gen 2 ranch in 300 blk. As well I want a g2 american in 22 arc for sure.
Beggin" for a baffle strike, if your not getting one already. Did you try them without the suppressor?
In addition, if you're getting keyholes, the twist rate isn't fast enough for subs.
