Where do you get that?Standard velocity is subsonic
Academy, LGS, Atwoods and sometimes Walmart. Or do you mean you want proof?Where do you get that?
I referred to CCI Standard Velocity. Now for the proof.325 Rd. (Bulk Pack) - Federal .22 LR AutoMatch Ammunition

So are the differences between the actual velocities and stated velocities. I was specific to CCI Standard Velocity as being subsonic and backed it up with proof just as you showed proof that some ammo manufacturers have Standard Velocity at Super Sonic velocities.CCI having lower velocity means nothing to define the term. Standard velocity is all over the place, as shown by our 2 widely different velocities posted, and not necessarily subsonic.
But the vast majority of standard velocity cartridges from any manufacturer will be subsonic out of most guns and most atmospheric conditions. You have to have just the right ammo, just the right gun/barrel length and just the right atmospheric conditions to go supersonic.CCI having lower velocity means nothing to define the term. Standard velocity is all over the place, as shown by our 2 widely different velocities posted, and not necessarily subsonic.
