Got to take a look at both a few weeks ago...

Dissapointed with BOTH!

"LOADED WHEN UP" banner on LC9
It is the same size as the SR9c.
Not comparable to the LCP at all! (which is being by far outsold by S&W Bodyguard 380)

Kimber needs to stick to 1911's.
I wouldnt buy a ruger 1911, I wont buy a kimber polymer.

What does seem to have potential is the SIG Sauer P290.

BUT, IF YOU SOMEHOW LIKE ANY OF THESE MENTIONED ABOVE....
WAIT A YEAR ATLEAST BEFORE YOU BUY, UNLESS YOU DONT MIND WORKING THE THE MANUFACTURER TO WORK OUT FIRST GEN BUGS.

NOT TO MENTION THE SIGNIFICANT PRICE DROP AND 10-12 MOS.

I guess it's a good thing the Kimber Solo-Carry isn't polymer.

sr9c has that and doesn't bother me at all...I forget it's there.

I was at Cabella's in Ft. Worth yesterday and they had one in the case for $399.00. I have an LCP and believe me the 1" taller and longer makes a difference. I don't find it that much smaller than my Ultra Carry II. I wasn't really impressed with the thumb safety as it really is small and pivots from the front not the back. I will end up buying one, however.
