Didnt Rossi do it too with the Cyclops pistol or something like that? -- There were a bunch of niche' target type revolvers for sale here not too long ago, or maybe even currently --

Im all for new ideas -- or old ideas for young people -- so i hope it catches on --

There is a special place in my heart for the 22 hornet.

When I was growing up, the only gun I had was a .410 single shot. The holy grail for me at that time was the Savage O/U with the top barrel in .22 Hornet and the bottom in 20 ga. Never found one in workable condition since, although did come by a .22LR/,410 a couple of years ago with a great lockup.

The 22 Hornet is a fun round. I use 12.2 gr of lil’gun to power 35 and 40 grain v-max. Flat, good for 200 yards. Just difficult as all get out to find stock ammo loaded for it. Seems people moved to the plentiful 223.

I have one I may be interested in selling if I can get one ordered w/ the threaded barrel. Ruger site just recently shows them as available. I haven’t checked into closely yet. That all said, the 77/22 Hornet that I have is an awesome flat shooting rifle!
