If the Armorer was doing her job he would not have loaded the weapon, that is her job. He would not have had access to the weapon or any ammo either. In addition she would have coordinated the shot so it was safe even with dummies or blanks. She wasn't present when a firearm was being used, her job was to always be present. The firearm and ammo were not secured when she wasn't there, that was also her job.

He is an adult. HE chose to pick up a gun.
HE chose to load said gun.
HE chose aim a weapon AT A PERSON and pull the trigger.

HE IS GUILTY OF MURDER.

She failed at her job.
HE failed at being a sensible human being.

She was hired as the Weapons Armorer for the production. That means she controls all weapons and ammo, and is responsible to insure the safety of all people on the set when it comes to firearms. If she did her job, he wouldn't have the opportunity to pick up a gun, load a gun, and aim a gun at a person. I'm not arguing whether or not Baldwin is guilty, but it is clear that if she had done her job, no one would have died. Listen to the testimony of real Armorers, and Production staff that have been under the supervision of a real Armorer. They all describe the typical environment as strictly controlled and extremely structured. Not the way she was running it.

A safety failed, then another safety, then another safety, then another safety.

All of the failures were caused by inadequate and unqualified people.

Had the first failure not happened, the death could / should / would be prevented.

The 2nd moron failed to observe basic safety and is as guilty as the unqualified Armorer. Baldwin's lawyer will argue his PoS client is not guilty because of the Armorer. Her lack of qualifications allowed it to happen, did not cause it to happen. The person that placed her in the job is just as guilty as she is. And yet, nothing would have happened if not for that PoS Baldwin.

I’d say manslaughter, not murder. Doesn’t seem premeditated.

Pre by how much?

He thought to pick it up
He thought to load it
He thought to cock the hammer
He thought to aim at a person
He thought to pull the trigger

He deserves jail time. Since there have been payoffs of some families involved, I sadly feel the PoS will walk.

There was Two Filming Crews, and she was Armorer and wardrobe.
She was told to leave the gun cart outside the church.
She was not there when the shooting accrued.
No Firearms were to be used during the rehearsal.
Baldwin told the assistant director to go get the revolver because he wanted to practice with it.

The Productions Company (Baldwin) should have hired two full time Armorer's, not One part time Armorer.

The Amorer's cart should have been locked and no firearms in use unless she was present, according to testimony that is the standard for Movie Armorers. And I agree that the Production company has a significant role in this, they were told a number of times about issues with the Armorer(according to testimony).

Premeditated - The fact of thinking about or carefully planning to do something, especially a crime or something unpleasant.

So you are saying that it was Baldwin's intent to kill her.
