And the FCC doesn't regulate cable programming beyond safe-harbor (9pm) when tv content ratings are properly given. That's why History, FX, FXM, FXX, Comedy Central can drop f-bombs these days.

Maybe so, but that doesn't make it right IMO. :/

FCC = "Federal Communications Commission," and cable/satellite is still "communications," just as over the air radio/TV is. If ya wanna buy that kinda stuff, get it on DVD.

Just my two cents (and probably a lot less when adjusted for inflation and public opinion). YMMV.
