Hey Guys,

Reminder to those that's memberships hinge on attending the club orientation, its a requirement before your membership is final!

There is one every second Saturday of the month. Next one is this Saturday the 13th at 9:00 am. Not only is it a requirement but you actually learn quite a bit about the range rules and also get a quick how-to in skeet & trap!

See you guys out there, dont be shy, say hi if you see me!

A little reminder for members...

Next Saturday July 11th is one of our 2 workdays of the year. Remember that we members run the club and do all the maintenance. The more we have come out, the quicker we get our projects done.

Calling out electrician members, we need some tips on a couple of wiring issues.

We only have two works days a year so all the help we get is very beneficial.

See you guys out there and remember to say hey!

Attention SSSC members!

Want to learn how to reload/handload your own rifle, pistol or
shotgun shells?
• Save money
• Optimize load for your rifle or pistol
• Load light target loads or specialty loads

Separate metallic and shotshell courses. Each one runs 4 hours. Cost is only
$10 to attend one or both (to cover cost of the NRA Reloading Guidebook).

The courses will be taught by club members who are NRA certified reloading
instructors.

Participants will each receive the NRA Reloading Guidebook as
well as load data books and info on reloading equipment and supply sources.
We also have a few door prizes.

This is strictly a reloading course, with no attempt to sell any equipment or
supplies. The instructors are members, not vendors. Since prices are getting
higher and some ammo is still scarce, it seems like a good time to help other
members get started in reloading.

This course will show you how to get started
in reloading, with emphasis on safety. We will follow the NRA curriculum for the
courses. Instructors will be Ron Denton, Stephen Cue and Jeff Cue.

Rifle/Pistol and Shotshell Reloading Seminar
Saturday, October 10, 2009 - SSSC Clubhouse
8-12 am and 1-5 pm

Depending upon turnout we will do both courses in morning and afternoon, so
members can go through both if they want.

Cost is $10 total to cover the book whether you go through one or both
courses.

If I read the announcement correctly, this is for members only. Members of SSSC or OSA? I would be interested and need a place to shoot closer to where I am currently shooting. The home page says that membership is closed until next year. I would be interested in taking the classes for reloading but am not a member. Would I be allowed to come? Or will I have to wait until March of next year.

It is currently for SSSC members only but If there were enough interest, I would be willing to donate my time and teach a class for OSA members for free at my classroom on the west side of Tulsa.
