Savage long action magazine conversion to blind mag

Is it possible to convert a DBM to a blind mag (new stock required of course). Reason behind it, I dont want to run around with a 2-3 round detachable magazine. Id rather just have a blind mag for a hunting rig. Long action

it is possible, just try to match the stock set up you got to the one you buy, maybe you can just swap stocks with somebody, if you buy a stock make sure it comes with all the stuff. there was two different versions of the savage blind mag if i remember correctly and the old stuff doesnt mix with the new stuff very good, bottom bolt release vs. new top bolt release, etc, etc, if you can check out savageshooters.com forum. they have a for sale section or maybe find one on ebay and sell your old one too.
