Scope Recommendations for Ruger MK III

What do you peeps recommend for a "decent" scope for a Ruger MK III target model? I don't wanna spend a ton of money on it, just something to goof off with, I like reticles and being able to dial in a click or so at a time...maybe something I could pick up at Wally on my way to work one morning kind of thing?

For a target red dot then the one used by Bullseye shooters is the Ultra Dot Match Dot II

Since there hasn't been much response to your query, I will give you my two cents.

For my MK III I bought a cheapo NCStar multi-reticle red dot. It worked very well and the pistol was very accurate using it. I couldn't have been happier with it.

If you want something you can get at Wally World, these are similar.

Now that I have posted here, there will probably be many "experts" come along to tell you otherwise, but the cheap red dot worked great for me.

The Bushnell TRS 25's are a well reviewed and reasonably priced alternative. I've got one and really like it. I'd recommend it.

It's a 22. Which pretty much means just about any - even a BSA or Tasco - red dot will work just fine.

That said: I 2nd the NC Star. I've got one on a .357 mag revolver and have for the last 7 years or so. Still going strong and have never had to rezero.
