I know you have to have a license to sell reloaded ammo but I see .300 Blackout converted brass for sell on other forums. This made me wonder if they have to have a license to sell .223 brass they converted to .300 Blackout?
No. no license required to sell just the brass. go for it!
Lol...I plan on making my own and with the effort I'll put into it, I don't plan on selling it. The selling reloaded ammo thread made me curious.
I'm not an expert but I don't think it would decrease it.
I've converted about 500 223 and 5.56 to 300 blackout. I convert all the 223 cases with split necks, good way to recycle them. Most of my blackout stuff is low velocity, but I do have some hunting loads that use 180 grain bullets. So far I haven't had a case fail on any of mine. I shoot it in single shot, bolt action and AR style rifles.
Ive converted tens of thousands and can tell you from experience. There is a lot of competition to sell it and its a lot of effort for the monetary reward.

Learning to anneal the necks will improve the life of the brass.
