By the same token, I've been hearing that the Russians have pretty much lost all their experienced warriors and are down to conscripts and now North Korean soldiers. And, I'd bet dollars to donuts that neither of those last two sources are really enthused about where they are and what is happening to them.
The N Korean soldiers might be enthused because they’re out of N Korea. They are prob eating better and just discovered what a cell phone & the internet is.😀

The mujahideen didn’t kick the Soviet Army out of Afghanistan they left exactly like we did in our wars. A lack of political will to continue fighting and domestic problems .
The mujahideen followed the writings of Ho Chi Min.

“You can kill ten of my men for every one I kill of yours. But even at those odds, you will lose and I will win.” —Viet Minh leader Ho Chi Minh in a warning to French colonialists in 1946.

Everything depends on the Americans. If they want to make war for 20 years then we shall make war for 20 years. If they want to make peace, we shall make peace and invite them to tea afterwards.

Ho Chi Minh

You will kill ten of us, we will kill one of you, but in the end, you will tire of it first.

Ho Chi Minh during the Vietnam War.

Yep... I don't think Ukraine can win without a LOT of western help. Most likely the kind of help the west won't be willing to provide...boots on the ground.
Why should the US provide boots on the ground?
I would think the European countries that are next in line for Putin's remake of the USSR would be highly concerned.
Oh wait, I forgot. Russia supplies all of their natural gas and fossil fuels for the most part. They are captive idiots by their own design.

True, but they have family that will be killed or put in work camps if they even think of surrendering or defecting according to a link I posted yesterday.

They shouldn't.

I care about this war only to the extent it's weakening Russia. Not only in the loss of manpower and materiel, but in the eyes of the world. The big, scary bear is starting to look more like a frightened cub. But, even a bear cub can be dangerous.

Of course, we all want to see Putin embarrassed with a loss. He doesn't want it either which is why he is bringing in replacements from North Korea which is kind of telling in a way.
His prisons are pretty much empty, so those reinforcements are waning.
Russia has a history of using convicts as front-line fighters since way early on in the last century. Several books have been written about it, one by a Russian General that defected.
Some say the inclusion of North Koreans is an indication of it's already WWIII.
Ukraine has made some very strategic drone and aircraft incursions into the ammo stores of Russia recently since biden has allowed them to use our weapons to go across the borders even into Chechenia. Actually, biden didn't have any say as we well know, but that's the story.

Actually most who've been paying attention don't want to see putin lose this war. I, for one, would love to see putting win this thing once and for all. After all, if Ukraine wins, so does the corrupt u.s. government. All lies will be buried and the corruption will continue on Ukrainian soil. Iykyk.

I don't want to see putin win anything, but I can see your point.
Billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars have gone to graft and corruption in that country never reaching the front-line troops, but to his credit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has fired dozens of corrupt military and government officials to at least make an attempt to show the most corrupt country on earth is making some attempt to appear legit when getting foreign aid from the US and other countries.
