Sept 20, 1984 I had been at Lackland AFB for basic training for 21 days.
+1. I was 3 1/2 months old then. I was probably thinking about something else at the time...
...ok, probably something that all us guys are still thinking about... hehe!
I was 22, had been going with the same girl for two years, and I KNOW what I was thinking about....

My induction date was January 21, 1966 in Amarillo, Texas with Basic Training at "Little Korea," also known as Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Oddly enough, I had enlisted into the U.S. Army Security Agency but trained with a whole company of Guardsmen and Reservists. I was in better physical condition when I went into Basic than what I was when our company "graduated."
Then California, Virginia, Pakistan (known as West Pakistan at that time) and then back to California.
And no, I can't tell what we did in the U.S. ASA.
Also, my sincere thanks to all veterans and their families.
