My dad and I are going hiking tomorrow, and we picked up a box of 9mm CCI Shotshell for snakes. I've read some posts online about FTFs and the plastic cases falling off inside of some semi-autos. Does anyone have experience using these rounds in a Glock? What did you encounter?

Thanks.

They most likely will not cycle your next round, but if your cognitive about that, and know you will have to cycle the next round if need be, then you will be good to go.

theyre not designed to use in semiauto pistols. Dont use them unless you want a million #11 shot all up in your pistol

Read attached quote from CCI below. They will work in your Glock, but again, most likely won't cycle your slide. I have used them many times.

Directly from CCI: The Following.

""These cartridges are loaded with a lighter projectile then conventional 9mm Luger ammunition for use in pistols and revolvers. They may not function reliably in all models of firearms. DO NOT RELOAD THESE CARTRIDGE CASES. These cartridge cases are marked NR (Not Reloadable). Rupture of reloaded cases can cause severe injury. Do not use shotshells in firearms with ported barrels or ported recoil compensators. Cylinder lock up may occur in light weight revolvers due to capsule movement resulting from recoil inertia.""

And a video of them being used in a Glock 19. It shows they work, but will not fully cycle sometimes.
