That bold part just says “refuses to show”
Not “refuses to have scanned”
They can hold one while I slip into my finest thong so they can scan my hairy A55.

Question for someone in the know.
Fed ex dood has my package, I tell him/her to jam the id part and (without touching him/her) swipe my box outa his hands........would this be considered some sort of “infraction” worthy of a time-out at the greybar inn?

My understanding is that this is a Fed Ex decision industry wide. Not a Sig thing.

What if the recipient does not want their ID scanned at delivery?

When the recipient refuses to have their ID scanned at delivery, the driver can verify age by manually entering the date of birth. The driver will also manually enter the first initial and last name.

According to some FedEx drivers, manual entry is not optimal. Manual data entry will lower the number of drops per hour. FedEx drivers can manually enter the birth date, but an increase in usage might create higher signature fees in the future.
