I didn’t make this and bought it on here. It’s shop built and they did an ok job. I modified the spring perch, changed the geometry on some of the stuff. I mounted it to an old stand I have, cleaned up the wiring and mounted the VFD.

This is what happens when I have a problem and very little creativity, and a way to cut and weld metal.

I got tired of holding and spilling my oversized coffee cup while driving to work. So I cobbled this interchangeable cup holder together last night.

Why don’t I change cups you may be saying to yourself. Well this cup fits under my coffee maker that will only fit a 6” tall cup.

This rest inside the existing cup holder plus it weights at least a pound so it doesn’t go anywhere. And it can be moved back to the rear cup holder to make room for a normal cup in the front holder.

Kind of something I made, I'm really into old cast iron tools, especially those that have cast iron stands. This is the latest, Rockwell 31-501 6x48 belt sander almost back together after a blast and powder coat. This one is from 1953, it joins a Walker Turner 6" jointer behind it from the '30's as well as a Walker Turner Bandsaw from the '30's.

Very cool! I have a shop full of machine tools needing that sort of care. Unfortunately I keep suffering projectus interrupus when trying to get them squared away. My kid moved back out yesterday, rather unexpectedly. Once the fallout settles I may get to move them back to my shop space. Kid said I should take my silver linings where I can find them. I hope they can find a place they can afford to live.

Nice work, but you missed the opportunity to buy a 3d printer and print an adapter. I printed one for my 40oz hydroflask to fit in the F150. It made sense, $1600 for an adapter(and a whole lot of other things I have printed... ).
