Still in stock an hour later. The $1,700 price tag on a $1,000 rifle probably has something to do with it. Maybe the panic buyers have ran out of cheese.

That is probably it. My guess is that many of the buyers at the high prices were people who did not previously own an AR. Now those people likely either have one or dont have the cash for one.
