You don't need to take them apart to clean them well. CLR and a commercial ultrasonic machine (which I have) clean them quite well. Borescope proves it as well.
Glad you’re satisfied with that process, but your bore scope will tell you little cause it doesn’t see deep into the baffles. CLR will not remove lead fouling, only carbon and not all with out scrubbing. Put 5k rds through your welded 22 can and do your mentioned cleaning method and see if it still weighs the same as when it was new. Mine does! There are reasons why mfg’s make their 22 suppressors take down, cause they know what happens if they don’t. Welded 22 cans are cheaper for a reason.
