a stripped lower that you both can build into a complete rifle as they grow older. I went with that for one son and a bolt-gun build for the other and both truly respect what they have.

This is an amazing idea! Didn't even think of that. I think I'll do this for my daughters (3months and 2.5 years).

Let's see....I have a dozen children, four grandchildren, and two Son In Laws, and possibly six more SILs, two DILs, and probably several more grand children...

I could, err, I mean they could, have quite an AR collection someday!
