How well does the Lee 4 hole turret press reload rifle loads? I would want to load 243 win., .223, 270,308, and 35 rem. Or would I want to single stage these on an additional press?

By the way if you do not have a caliper yet let me just share that I bought a home geek that works, now having said that it is a pita. the slide on the back side is not covered so I find when adjusting it I pinch it and fight myself and the battery cover is placed where I naturally try to slide the thing and it pops open!!

It works well with rifle loads , you just take the pivot arm out and then tun the turret by hand or just leave it and just operate the turret as usual. once you have the turret in front of you it is pretty easy to figure out and when you have questions there is tons of info online and Lee answers the phone. And another plus is Lees costumer service is top notch, I broke the press arm on my single stage and when I called they charged me shipping and sent me the part free.!!

I was given a single stage in the seventies. I loaded thousands of rounds on it. About twenty five years later I got my first Dillon progressive and wished I had known about them years earlier. My first Dillon was a Square Deal B. It’s limited to pistol calibers only with proprietary dies. I later sold that one and bought a Dillon 650.

I still keep a single stage around for smaller batches or calibers I don’t have conversion kits for.

Here is part of the cool factor of the turret,
Extra turrets are $10.00 . I can clean and do every thing I need to do without messing with the settings.
Still have to check settings regular but that is a couple of minutes compared to setting up every time you change bullet types.
Even the single stage where your dies are set in bushings can get tedious.
