Same here, I donated a bunch of stuff including a couple of old leather slings and a footlocker the first time it came around OKC. I had a bunch more stuff to (more slings included) donate but was ignored the second time around. Had to rent a table at a gunshow and got rid of most of what I was going to donate. I think if it ever goes around again a strict sign up list would benefit everyone. Just keep track of who's next in line and don't deviate without permission.
You ever look at that thread? They make a list of people and get a schedule then someone screws the pooch and it goes to them for a week or two, or three, Then no communication for a bit and someone asks where it is and they were supposed to get it next. It has happened over and over. Like herding cats.
Just another reason I would never get involved. I'll make a post and give away whatever I'm trying to but nobody ever remembers those posts. I'm at the point I need to advertise a free pick up.
