Picked this up today was wondering about date. It’s pinned and recessed. Serial number is 7K89325View attachment 522192

That is purdy and my favorite barrel length too.

Owned a 6” model 19 back in the 1980’s. I admired the pinned, solid, one piece barrel and recessed cylinder charge holes, even before I learned what those features were. The “K” frame fit my medium sized hand so well. If I knew then what I know now, I would have eased up on the powder charge I was throwing into my .357 Magnum reloads. Found out hot gas cutting into steel top straps and forcing cones is a thing.
