If you have an academy near you they have the M2.0 3.6in for $499. Might have to have it shipped to the store, but its an option. PSA has the slightly bigger 4in version for $399.

Those ptices are ridiculous! I'll hold out for a used one that somebody wants to trade for a Glock 19. It's kinda strange. For almost 30 years, a Glock has been on my hip in some sort of caliber or variant, but I dunno...the 2.0 M&P just feels so much better in my hand.

I'm the same way. I can shoot a Glock just fine and the gen 5 feels better than gen 3 or 4 but the M&P has always felt like it was custom made for my hand.
