I'm curious why you want a snubbie,,,
They are notoriously difficult to hit with.

I own a S&W 34 snubbie,,,
It was my cheap ammo practice gun,,,
It makes a great "understudy" for my S&W 26 Snubbie.

I mean the cheap practice I got from it,,,
Translated into more proficiency with the model 36.

Were I to carry a .22,,,
I think I would look at one of the 3" Taurus revolvers.

I stopped carrying that 36 snubbie,,,
When I bought a 3" model 36.

I'm a much better shot with that slightly longer barrel.

One can actually aim a 3" barrel,,,
And it has the larger 8-round capacity.

Well then. You need to sell that 2 inch 34.

I’m not a Taurus guy, and I carry a smith model 66 2.5” 357 and have shot a couple of cleet qualifications with it no issue. I shoot a lot and the short barrel and sight radius isn’t really an issue for me. Id be more than happy to help you out with that 34 if you wanna get rid of it.

Ya know, I didn't mean to imply that snubbies are inaccurate,,,
Just difficult to hit with.

As I stated, after several thousand rounds of .22 through the 34,,,
That made me proficient enough for self defense work with the 36 snubbie.

Minute of bad guy is all that is needed.

With the model 34 or 36,,,
I can do a double tap into a 6" circle anywhere inside 21 feet.

A lot of people who say they want a ".22 pistol to carry on a daily basis:,,,
Anticipate using it for snakes.

At 5-6-7 feet I can hot a wine bottle cork pretty much every time with my 4" 63,,,
But when I switch to the snubbie 34 (even with the target sights),,,
The snake has a 50/50 chance of survival.

Honestly, I wasn't denigrating your preference,,,
I just don't think I would carry a snubbie as a ranch gun.
