This is just community organizing and race politics rabble rousing at the college level. Unless you look hard, you can't really see any issue that spawned this and their demands give them away. Any university president or governing board that fall prey to this tactic deserve to be tossed out. Political Correctness will be the nations' universities' downfall and they have no one to blame but themselves.

actually, as the article you posted shows, it was more than just one event. In fact, there have been many events like that over the past few years.

I don't know if what happened is right, wrong, PC or whatever, but this wasn't a 'new' or isolated issue. Also, the group had more supporters than just the football team, including graduate students, graduate staff and faculty.

I'm not a fan of people losing their jobs each time someone isn't unhappy, but this group staged a peaceful protest and affected change. I'm happy it went that route instead of some of the other ways people have 'protested' lately.

From what I heard today, the grad students were unhappy they lost their free healthcare. You can thank Obamacare for that one though. They just placed their anger against the president of the university. I will wager, this school will either be gone or down to nothing within 3 years.

These institutions that push this PC BS are now coming under the same illogical scrutiny that started with the non-institutions. Good riddance if they live by PC they can wither away and die by PC.

My daughter is a freshman at a different state universities and she has had to write papers on "white privilege", 2 papers on "accepting and promoting homosexuality", and the last "why I am not a Christian". The students could not share their beliefs or opinions on the subjects, they had to read this trash and write the paper.

It's honestly just sad to see. Especially if you're actually working on getting an education and everyone around you is expecting to be handed money, a degree, and a job. What's happened to the work ethic and effort?
