Well I have abused this knife regularly for a year now. Never once cleaned it or taken it apart. Holds an Edge like a razor for a good amount of time before needing resharpened.

Today after I got home from church I decided it was time to give her a little TLC

Here is how she looked when I started.

first thing I did was protect the edge from the acid etch with nail polish.

Then she came apart for a full detail job, You can see all the blood from the 1 elk, 4 Deer, And 1 Antelope I gutted with it last year.

next I splattered candle wax on the blade before going in the PCB Etchant. (Sorry did not get a pic of that.)

this is how the blade came out, (after hitting it with a little 1000 grit.)

then I moved on to the scales, Used some hot glue to make a pattern and put it in s RIT dye bath, I thought I screwed it up at first but i think it came out great!

Let me know what you think, Love it or hate it comments are welcome.
