Wet feet/slippers on ceramic tile is an accident lookin' for a place to happen IMO.

I'd seriously consider something slip-resistant at least, and perhaps something somewhat padded/cushioned if at all practical.

Just my two cents.

The wood look ceramic planks have a "wood grained" surface, not slick at all.

Doesn't matter though as it sounds like it.is.getting.painted...

Wise choice, especially from an ease of doing, as well as cost standpoint. You can tile anytime. If you ever do tile, make sure you research the slipping hazard, especially as you get older. Cough, cough.

It’s done. After a lot of prep work, it was ready to paint. Surjimmy came over and lent a hand and we got it done without painting ourselves into a corner even. My wife picked a color called Red Sandstone.

That hot tub is way better room wise that the other one, you still have room to burn some meats and mix some drinks whilst enjoying the relaxing waters!! Nice.

I don't know about that hot tub...

...how easy would it be for the "other half" to close the lids on you? You might be parboiled before you could get out.
