Fixed it for you! You need this on the front door!
HA!
I may try to keep shad guts and fish slime to a minimum on this new boat carpet.
If not I may need to add my name to it.
I need to make some comfy furniture for it.
May not look super fancy but will be comfy and practical.
I have plastic bases from the old furniture but i will not use the backs of those love seats as it makes the seat very narrow and you can't lay down on them and get comfy.
Wider laying area will be better.
While you throw dollar bills at every foot that comes off!Okay I finally read this whole thread.
I have a fibreglass boat with rotten carpet glued inside.
I may try boiling water to soften then pressure wash the spots.
Best for last.
Hire a stripper to work on your boat...
I've got a sewing machine you probably could have used. Cousin made sails for his homemade sailboat.I built 2 seats for it and sewed the vinyl with an old Kenmore sewing machine I picked up during big trash.
I took an old rip proof banner that was given to me and made a cover for it to keep dust and sun off the vinyl.
I also treated the vinyl with 303 Protectant.
Need to make a couple more smaller ones but running out of the same color white.
Not that I am taking it to the fair.
It will be good enough.
Seat foam was free. Big trash couch cushions
One mans trash.

You have some talents. Good looking seats. That looks strong.
Looks like the stitch length will go way down on that one.
Mine goes to 6 minimum but the vinyl does not feed correctly without a walking foot so the stitch length changes a little as you sew.
Got it done though.
This is my big trash machine I used.
Pardon the mess I had to move some reloading stuff out from under it to get it out and use it on this project.
