We have a heavy duty sewing machine too. I need to put a variable speed on it because it has two speeds, off and Oh my God!

I built 2 seats for it and sewed the vinyl with an old Kenmore sewing machine I picked up during big trash.
I took an old rip proof banner that was given to me and made a cover for it to keep dust and sun off the vinyl.
I also treated the vinyl with 303 Protectant.

Need to make a couple more smaller ones but running out of the same color white.
Not that I am taking it to the fair.
It will be good enough.
Seat foam was free. Big trash couch cushions :)
One mans trash.

My first time sewing vinyl seats.

I was just thinking about your restore! Looking great!!!

Too many irons in the fire so i have not messed with it for a couple weeks.
Other than wiring in some speakers.
But I did get my carb gaskets and rebuilt them and it fires right up and idles perfectly.
New fuel lines and new primer bulb and used an aluminum fuel tank I had.

Had to make the spot the fuel tank sits in larger.
All that is left is tighten engine mount bolts and shim some bunk boards so they at least touch the toon.
I have not ran wires and lights yet but I have some magnetic ones i used to get it home.

I have one of my tires leaking air so need to dunk it and find the very slow leak.
I also need to take the spare rim in and buy another load range F tire for a spare.

I like to have a spare.

The last few days i have worked in the yard ..cut down a 50 year old silver maple that was dead in the back yard and cutting it all up into firewood that will fit in my wood insert.
Splitting the large logs by hand.

That tree takes up a lot of my time.

I will tell you what is really handy a spare hub.

My other Pontoon boat the hub is not removable.
I lost a bearing and race and had to cut the thing off and weld another hub on.

My new hub is a bolt on but the flange steel is super hard for some reason and i was only able to drill 3 of the holes.
I think they quenched or water hosed the steel after welding it.

I added some welds to the bolt on hub.

Now that is something I should look at on this one.
Take the hubs apart clean & grease them well.
