A 2 to 3 horsepower (746 watts/ Hp) doesn't require vast stands of timber, about 30 acres of oak trees will keep her running. If you put the boiler in your house and use standard hot water baseboard heaters as the condensers for the engine exhaust and feed that back to the boiler you get heat and electricity out of the deal. OK doesn't have the rotten winters we have in CT here I burn the wood anyway just to keep my ass warm might as well get some watts out of it while I'm at it. The only thing in CT we have in greater abundance than oak trees is rocks and knee jerk politicians that pass a new law every time some mommy or school teacher cries.

Keep that cedar but find a good old sawmill boiler, we can burn the limbs to run the boiler to run a shredder to shred the trunks to make excelsior to stuff the mattresses that smell like cedar and keeps the bed bugs to a minimum.
