Steel Challenge this Sun @ 10-27-13

This Sunday is Steel Challenge at OCR&GC. Sign-in at 9:30am and start shooting at 10:00am. We will be shooting six stages with a round count of around 200. We will have all the normal divisions: Rimfire pistol
optic/iron, Centerfire pistol optic /iron, and Rimfire rifle iron/optic. Oil Capital Members $10.00, non-members $15.00, and second gun $5.00.

It looks like we will have great weather.

Would you guys be interested in running 5 standard stages and 1 tactical (reloads and movement) or would you prefer all 6 standard?

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match (please don't put
targets on the ground; we take them apart as we load them on to the trailer- much easier than picking them off the ground.) But no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

Remember we have plaques for 1st place winners.

Great match with great weather with 20 guns.

We had several Oil Capital members which is important to keep the match going at the club.


As always we will award plaques to 1st place winners. These are Rick, Randy, and Jeff.

Cindy gets another plaque for lowest Lady score again. We had several lady shooters today, including 1st time shooter at Oil Capital Debra Gann, MP veteran Ammanda Swimmer, and Ruger sponsored Junior shooter Starla Fuller. Debra is really accurate with her shooting, and this was only her 2nd match. Starla started shooting just a few months ago and her scores keep gettig lower every time.


Thanks a lot to Cindy, Rick, Micah, and Geoff for helping with the tear down.

Got a correction.

Randy shot RFRO due to equipment malfunction.

This means Gary Killingsworth came in 1st in RFPI and gets a 1st place plaque.
