Steel Challenge this Sun 9-22 @ Oil Capital

This Sunday is Steel Challenge at OCR&GC. Sign-in at 9:30am and start shooting at 10:00am. We will be shooting six stages with a round count of around 200. We will have all the normal divisions: Rimfire pistol
optic/iron, Centerfire pistol optic /iron, and Rimfire rifle iron/optic. Oil Capital Members $10.00, non-members $15.00, and second gun $5.00.

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match (please don't put
targets on the ground; we take them apart as we load them on to the trailer- much easier than picking them off the ground.) But no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

Remember we have plaques for 1st place winners.

The weather ended up being perfect. We had 25 guns.


Thank you to all who helped us set up, tear down, and SOing. Could not do it without you (I know some of you get task with this every month, and Don and I really appreciate it.)


Al Knight took 1st on RFPI, Steve Foreman with RFPO, and Micah with PI. Cyndi took lowest Lady score. They all get a 1st place plaque.


We will have a 22 friendly tactical steel match next Sunday. Would like to have you comments on whether you would prefer a Pro-Am/Steel Challenge mix with CF and RF categories, or a rimfire 22 match. Either way, expect reloads and some movement. I’ll send a match notice tomorrow.
