Got out Saturday with the son of my buddy to get him into fishing. He hasn't done much in the past, and I suspect he watches a lot of tv bass fishing. Took about an hour of looking but finally found the fish. They were holding behind a log that was partially submerged in some slow current. He got a few bites, but never landed a fish. He was using a heavy action rod, and setting the hook like it was a 10lb bass. Rippin' their lips off! Finally got him to slow down and he started catching. We had a good evening. He ended up with 7. 16 for me.
