Yup, that’s the reason I ran this one.

The same cattlemen that hired him to stop the rustlers, accused him of murdering a Mexican sheep herders 14 year old boy. Shot him from long range with his .45-70 lever action. Crooked sheriff and newspaper man bogussed up a ”confession”. Don’t understand why it was politically necessary to convict and hang Horn.

The late Bob Jourdan wrote a book on the subject called Diamond fields and Death. I have a signed copy but have never read it. Im sure some people on here knew Bob as he was from Bartlesville and a very well known riflesmith
