That is a beautiful, classic 'comma' shaped low pressure system. Nature's power is truly amazing...even when it's frightening.

That baby is wrapped up tight. I was an Air Force weather forecaster for several years at Offutt AFB working in Global Weather Central. I never get tired of seeing this stuff.

They just aired an emergency alert stating that there's a severe thunderstorm warning for Osage and Washington counties 'til 9pm, and Travis is on channel 6, so I guess there's something in the air tonight.
