Strange piece of metal fell down from the roof (pix)

I hopped outside to check mail today and found this piece of metal on my drive way. I don't know what is it and I can't climb up there on the roof to check because left leg is wrapped in cast. Can you help me ID this piece of metal please. Hope it is not some important piece of metal.

i would say its a piece of flashing and sooner or later you gona have a leak..................

Maybe part of the Valley, piece around the chimney or maybe part of a Flange tube.

May be flashing or a covering off a soffit vent.

That's a piece of flashing. Hard to tell where it came from. Chimney or something similar? Get a ladder and get on the roof.

I went outside and look up from my neighbor's yard, yes it is on top of my laundry room. There is a metal tube without cover, that must be it. Dang it, rain is coming in, I gotta ask someone to help me to cover it, I don't want to dryer filled up with water from the rain.
