Well nothing seems to be working so it kinda looks like a trip to Jerry's for that extraction tool is in my future.

Yep. Just buy the kit and hang onto it. If you reload long enough, you'll need it again. I reloaded for quite a few years before the need arose.
Drop the whole thing in a can of penetrating oil and leave it sit overnight then tomorrow use a punch that'll fit down through the die and neck and drive it out......good luck.
Drill the primer hole, thread with a 1\4 inch tap, put your in your press from the bottom up, and use
A small slide hammer and pull brass.
Or buy the the stuck case tool, works.good also if you have on hand.
Don't forget to back your decapper all the out

I reloaded for decades before sticking a case. It was, coincidentally, a 223 also.
I had acquired a stuck case tool setup in a trade at some point; it worked perfectly.
This works.
