Not much left at 81st last night. 30.06 and .270, some .243.
There's a bit of sadness in that, but true none the less.

Ok. I am in academy. The only gun ammo combo currently in stock is a 458 win mag. Ammo is kinda spendy but I will just have to live with it. Is the 458 win mag a good self defense round? This thing is going to look sick with an ACOG on it. Merry Christmas to me.

I would skip the ACOG and buy more ammo. That's the logical thing to do in this preplexing situation. I've never been one for fancies and blings on my insturments of death. Quite seriously I have no clue what an ACOG is supposed to do anyway.
I've been stocking up for a while, but I don't think there is ever enough. I made Wal Mart runs over the last couple of days and bought .22, .38 special, 12 ga buckshot, #4, and slugs, .30 carbine, 9mm, .45 acp.
IF this passes, and things get back to a little normal, I am going to buy a ton of .223.
As for odd calibers, I have a .405 Winchester model 1895 and a Winchester Model 1907 in .351 WSL
