Super mega A-frame back yard "plate rack"

This has been a work in progress for a while. Roughly 5ft tall and 20ft wide, all structure is 1/4" stainless, formed to 6x2 C channel, with flanges at the ends and corners welded up. Should last a year or two I hope.
All targets are AR500...and I have enough of the stainless parts to make another one some day if I get to expand. Next up is some loads of dirt to expand the berm...but it's getting there.

Great setup. Those chains will get abused with a miss, but they are cheap to replace.

I bought extra chain and repair links today, so it'll be quick and easy! Keep em handy with the bolt cutters and you're only down for a few minutes.

My "old" setup was similar, just made from 2x4s....but it was never meant to have this much hanging off of it, nor for it to live outside. I made it originally to be collapsible so I could take it to USSA and hang my own steel since they quit having anything worth shooting. Could fold up and fit in my station wagon.

This was during assembly, you could see how much it was sagging. And was a bit narrower.
