Cost varies greatly from about $400 + stamp tax to over $2000 + stamp tax. The world is your oyster.

Flash hider wouldn't be a huge deal. You'll need to get the barrel threaded and then attach a FH. If you want a sound suppressor, then you'll be out a bit of money and time.

Run of te mill flash hiders do not require registration or a tax. Just keep the barrel length over 16 " without the device installed or attached if perminany installed

If it isn't threaded you can do the pin on jobbie. It looks terrible but it will have a flash hider on it. I wouldn't bother with threading it. Sell it and buy a threaded version. IMHO.

If you watch gunbroker or ebay you can find the old style that looks like a m1a/m14 flash hider for around $15-20 plus postage. they slip on and pin, even has an evil accessory lug on it.LOL
