I've never tried this before, but have been shooting IDPA and have a few questions.
Is USSA still having matches every third Saturday?
How many mags and rounds are usually needed?
Will 9 mm 124gr rounds work okay?
Is a Sig X-5 legal for the open division?
I appreciate any answers or advise you guys could give me, thanks.

The Sig should be fine for limited unless you put some type of optic on it. You need 4-5 mags depending on how fast you shoot but each one can only be loaded to 10 rds. I heard USSA lost a lot of their steel when the National Pro Am match left for Florida and have not heard if they are still having this match or not. Someone else will have to chime in with that answer. Your 9 mm with 124s will do fine. Hope the match is on as they are lots of fun. You will enjoy it.
