They're gaining steam because the dismal approval ratings of ALL federal politicians seem to leave them unfazed. We The People want the BS to stop and they refuse to listen. So what DO you do to get their attention? This is just one of many ways. The win wouldn't be to secede or even to get approval to secede. The win is in getting the .gov on record as having to formally address the matter at all.
