[QUOTE="Fyrtwuck, post: 1266169, member: 23"] The GAP is gaining popularity in Law Enforcement. Florida Highway Patrol has just been issued 4th Generation G-37's for duty use. If the information I was given is correct, they just gave up their Beretta .40's for the GAP. This is not the first agency to adopt the GAP as a duty weapon. I don't see it going away any time soon. I just wish the brass would migrate this way quicker. I have about 5000 rounds of it right now and looking for more. Personally, I like it a lot. It has all the benefits of the ACP with a smaller grip and slightly larger magazine capacity. I shoot my G-37 in the monthly IPSC match at Tri-City every month. It's always funny when someone brings me a piece of my brass with a funny look on their face and says "what the heck is that you're shooting". And the discussion takes off from there. I like the ACP cartridge as well when I shoot a Glock, but the 1911 platform and I just do not get along. I don't know what it is, but with any other handgun, I can shoot expert every time, but not with a 1911 style. I have owned several and gotten rid of them because I can't hit anything with them.
