How would that round compare to the 50 Beowulf? I'm looking at building a "wildcat" AR myself right now, a 277 Wolverine...
I am not going to lie. I do not know a lot about the Beowulf. I will say that we use a cut down Remington Ultra Magnum brass and a 500 smith and wesson bullet. we used a AR10 base gun to do this with. As we move on with this, I will be posting more about it.
I would guess that the biggest difference between yours and the 50 B will be case length/case capacity, other than what case is the "parent case"...

50 BEO is the big gun in the AR platform for me, I do have a 308 ar package that I like really well. I shoot 50AE as well. For the really big rifle stuff, I've been working a 50 wildcat that uses 375 ruger basic brass and the 500sw bullets. I swage a .5015 diameter bullet for it as well. It is on a Savage 111 action though.
