Beware of those rechargeables! :yikes2: That's what led me to Surefire. My good ol' Streamlight SL-20 took a **** on me in the middle of a manhunt. My car was almost a mile away and I was out there in COMPLETE AND TOTAL darkness :lookaroun with just a teeny, tiny keychain LED squeeze light that I had gotten free from some internet company I had ordered something from. If'n I'd a had a Surefire, I coulda dumped the dead batts, tossed in a new pair and been back in the hunt. But instead, I had to go back to the car, put the light on the charger and go on home because I didn't have another flashlight. :grumble: This was back before I was such a flashlight nerd, over 5 years ago. It's never happened since and it will never happen again. :hellno:
