Paris has been shut down by snow. A whole 4 inches. 
I served in the middle east with some french "soldiers" in the mid-80's...some of them wouldn't go on patrol with us Americans; they said it was dangerous to be around us and that we were looking for trouble. Uh...I thought we were supposed to be looking for trouble over there...anyway...it was fine with us after we got over the initial disgust 'cause then we knew we didn't have to babysit some cry-baby.
weren't they dropping like flies because it got above 80 degrees a couple of summers ago?

It just tickled me that 4 inches of snow brought Paris to a halt. Businesses are closed, the public transportation is not running, and even the Eiffel Tower has been closed. Here 4" is a nice snow storm but nothing to get excited about. I wonder how they would handle one of the big northern US storms?
Not to defend the frogs but 4 inches of snow would probably shut most Okies down also.
Not to sure about that. Last few years seems we have handled much bigger storms then that. I know last years I was praying for a little global warming so I would not have to shovel as much, but people were getting around OK.
4"? You can't even have a proper snow ball fight with 4" of snow.
