Have not seen actual video but the NY Post reports some modern day British paratroopers who landed in Normandy on Tuesday got a welcome from the French:
"More jumps took place on Tuesday – including a group of British paratroopers who were met by French customs agents and asked to present their papers before continuing on into the country, footage posted on X showed."

This one is unexpectedly somber and profanity-free, considering his usual videos.
Reminds me of the old joke where the veteran tells the French customs agent that he didn't have to show papers the last time he went to France; the agent says impossible; the old vet replies, I couldn't find any agents on June 6, 1944 to show papers to.
But seriously, the French seem to be an ungrateful lot in general, considering the USA (and others) have saved their sorry butts a couple times now in the last 100ish years
