[QUOTE="dennishoddy, post: 1342233, member: 5412"] Made it out this morning, and moved to another stand thats in a bottle neck of the woods. Nothing was moving much except for the hawk that landed on a nearby limb and woke me up.:D About 0800 a doe came down the edge of the treeline right into my shooting lane. What was odd, is that everytime she put one of her front feet down, she stomped it down, not trying to be quiet at all. She was really nervous acting. Here lately I've been seeing other does act really nervous. Also have seen some large CANINE (not cat) tracks in the creek bank. Nobody in this area has dogs of any kind, in-fact there are only three houses in a 20 square mile area. So, I'm thinking somebody has dumped one, and that dog is roaming the woods. I kept looking at her as she got closer, thinking if she spotted something I might get a look as well. She kept getting closer until she was 3' away from my ladder stand. When she walked off, I thought that a 250 grain Hornady SST would calm her down, and you know what? It certainly did:D She weighed in at 105 lbs. Again, the crappy cell phone pics.
